Bristol Orienteering Klub (BOK) is the orienteering club for Bristol and surrounding areas.  With a membership of about 300, BOK is one of the largest clubs in the United Kingdom.

    What an amazing turnout on the day!  Up to 3 days beforehand we had 60 entries pre-registered so that Sally Thomas and myself were both confident that we had enough maps and food.  We were, however, surprised and overwhelmed on day when at least 150 turned out for the orienteering and many others also came for the social afterwards.  Apologies if you didn’t get any cake, or were delayed while...

Orienteering is an exciting and challenging outdoor sport enjoyed by people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. It involves competitive navigation using a map and compass - competitors choose their own route between control points marked on the map. Bristol Orienteering Klub (BOK), one of the largest and most successful clubs in the United Kingdom, draws its members from Bristol and the surrounding area (including South Gloucestershire, Bath and North Somerset). We organise local orienteering events and our members take part in events all over the country.
