Bristol Orienteering Klub (BOK) is the orienteering club for Bristol and surrounding areas.  With a membership of about 300, BOK is one of the largest clubs in the United Kingdom.

    The existing BOK Constitution must be updated in order to comply with current standards of governance, and a lot of work has already gone into producing a revised version.  Appropriate advisory documents have been reviewed, while past and present members of the club Committee have contributed to the current draft.     Our entry for the 2018 Compass Sport Cup is in, and it is confirmed that we will be starting the defence of the Cup at the Quantocks Orienteers event at The Slades, on Sunday 11th March. We will be up against Devon OC.

    Following hard on the heels of last weekend's event in the Forest of Dean, BOK is returning to Yoxter Ranges in the Mendips after a long absence.

    Saturday 20th January is the date with a full set of courses available, from hard and long (Brown) to short and easy (White). Beginners are most welcome with help and advice available. For the harder courses the area is technically challenging...

Orienteering is an exciting and challenging outdoor sport enjoyed by people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. It involves competitive navigation using a map and compass - competitors choose their own route between control points marked on the map. Bristol Orienteering Klub (BOK), one of the largest and most successful clubs in the United Kingdom, draws its members from Bristol and the surrounding area (including South Gloucestershire, Bath and North Somerset). We organise local orienteering events and our members take part in events all over the country.
