BOK Membership

Membership is open to all

There are 2 levels of membership within British Orienteering: See below for the differences of each level.

National Membership of British Orienteering

Local Membership of British Orienteering

Entry discounts referred to above will be £2 per event per adult, therefore if you are a regular orienteer you will begin to save money by taking out National membership.

Local Members of British Orienteering will be entitled to upgrade to National Membership of British Orienteering during a calendar year upon payment of the difference between the relevant Local and National Membership fees.

All British Orienteering members will need to get into the habit of carrying their membership cards with them, as “No card, No discount” will become the norm at entry on the day events.

You may join as:
  1. Senior - an individual who will have reached the age of 21 by the end of the membership year;
  2. Junior- an individual who will not have reached the age of 21 by the end of the membership year;
  3. Family - consisting of couples, parents/guardians & young persons within the family who will not have reached 25 years during the year in question.
