Permanent Courses

Maps are readily available, but we suggest you ring and check, especially if you need a lot of maps.

Bristol Orienteering Klub maintains three permanent courses. These are at:-

Ashton Court, Bristol

Maps £1, from the golf kiosk. Open dawn to dusk, 7 days a week. Tel. No: 0117 9738508

Blaise Castle, Henbury, Bristol

Maps £1, from the Parks Ranger at the Estate Office, next to the café by the car park on the Kingsweston Road. Tel: 0117-3532266; Mobile duty phone: 07795-445999. As the Parks Ranger is not always present at the Estate Office, it is recommended that maps are ordered in advance by telephone. Please note that the café no longer sells maps.

Worlebury Woods, Weston-super-Mare

South Gloucestershire Council maintains the following permanent course:

Three Brooks Local Nature Reserve, Bradley Stoke

The National Trust maintains the following permanent course:

Leigh Woods, Bristol

Course suitable for beginners, all on wheel chair accessible paths. Some marker posts offer the opportunity for participants to take brass rubbings. Recommended for school/community groups, families and individuals.
