Orienteering this Wednesday Evening, 20th June 2007, at Oldbury Court, Bristol


The seventh event in Bristol Orienteering Klub's Summer Informals Series takes place this Wednesday evening, 20th June 2007, at Oldbury Court, Bristol. This informal event is ideal for beginners and novices of all ages.

You don't have to be a member of a club in order to take part - new faces are always welcome. If you need help or advice please ask the organiser and/or helpers on the day.

Location

Parking is in the free public car park at the end of Oldbury Court Road, national grid reference ST635765:
Look out for the orienteering signs (examples here ).

Courses

  • Easy (yellow standard) suitable for beginners and those with some experience.
  • Moderate (light green standard) for the more experienced orienteer.
  • Difficult (blue standard) for fit, experienced orienteers.
We recommended carrying a whistle in case of injury.

Start Times

6pm to 7.30pm. Courses closes at 8.30pm.

Entry Fees

Seniors: £2. Juniors and full time students: £1.
Note: Charges are "per map", so you only pay one fee if you run as a team using a single map.
