Orienteering this Sunday, 16th March 2008, at Silk Wood, Westonbirt

Bristol Orienteering Klub's next event takes place this Sunday, 16th March 2008, at Silk Wood, within Westonbirt Arboretum.

"This schools' event  is particularly suitable for beginners, children and adults alike, and for family orienteering fun, or indeed for an excellent run in the beautiful woods of Westonbirt Arboretum, splendid at any time of year," says the event's organiser Stephanie Milne.

"There are the excellent facilities of the Maples restaurant and Courtyard cafe, serving great food and hot drinks, plenty of toilets and of course the Westonbirt shop with its roaring log fire.  If anyone feels like more exercise the winding and pretty trails of the Arboretum itself surround you! Come for a great day out!"

You don't have to be a member of a club in order to take part - new faces are always welcome. If you are a beginner, look out for the helper wearing an "ask me" tabard or simply ask at the registration tent.

Queries about this event should be directed to the organiser, Stephanie Milne (contact details on the Event Details webpage).
