Come along to our next event in the wonderful Forest of Dean, with courses available for all abilities and ages.

If you are new to orienteering there will be help and advice available so you select the course that best suits your ability.

All courses are line courses ranging from about 2km (White Course), with controls located on paths, making navigation easy - so suitable for families with young children - right through to around 8km with technical difficulty to match (Brown Course).

The advertised course lengths will be straight line distance and the aim is to find the best route between check points, which in most cases will not be straight - so expect to run further.

Entry Fees are White and Yellow courses: £3.00; Orange & above: Juniors and students £5.00; Seniors £10.00.

You will be timed using an eletronic chip device (dibber), which can be hired if you do not have your own - Juniors free Seniors £1.50

You can enter on the day or beforehand at www.fabian4.co.uk

The event registration will use the Sports Club and there will be the opportunity to buy tea/coffee and cakes after and the bar will also be open - so you can spend some time after discussing where you went right and wrong.

Car Parking: Ruardean Hill Sports Club at Grid Reference SO635169, post code GL17 9AR. Sign-posted from A4136, 300m west of A4136/A4151 junction.
