The forest is looking wonderful at the moment and the recent cold weather means that the bracken and brambles are dying back

If you are new to orienteering there will be help and advice available so you select the course that best suits your ability.

All courses are line courses ranging from about 2km (White Course), with controls located on paths, making navigation easy - so suitable for families with young children - right through to around 7km with technical difficulty to match (Brown Course).

The advertised course lengths will be straight line distance and the aim is to find the best route between check points, which in most cases will not be straight - so expect to run further.
