Ladies' Orienteering Training Day - 18th Feb 2012
There will be a Ladies’ Orienteering Training Day on Saturday 18 February 2012. A warm, comfortable room has been booked in the Sawmill in the grounds of Tyntesfield and very near the big house. Included in the booking is the use of the kitchen and toilets. The flat woodlands north of the Sawmill are ideal for orienteering training, providing scope for compass work, pacing, relocation, finding the first control, avoiding 180 degree errors and so on. The aim of the day is to give you ideas and training to enhance your enjoyment of orienteering. You do not have to be super fit to attend.
We need at least 12 ladies to make this viable. The cost is £8 which includes tea/coffee and biscuits, maps. Bring your own lunch. The day starts at 10am prompt and finishes at 3pm (timings subject to confirmation). Please contact Katy Dyer for further information and to book your place: 0117 9684173.
