    Following on BOK's Juniors' great victory in the Yvette Baker Trophy against the best clubs in England, we have now heard that Michael Hallett has been selected to run for England in the World Schools' Orienteering Championship in Portugal in April.

  • Adam Potter with the YB Trophy

    BOK Juniors have won the Yvette Baker Trophy for the first time with a score of 885 beating, 2nd place Octavian Droobers (875 points), and third placed Lakeland Orienteers (871 point).  

    Adam Potter led the team home winning on the Green M course (100 points), and the following also scoring for the team:

    Ensuring that the juniors don’t steal all the limelight (although it is richly deserved) the CompassPoint UK Masters Cup came to an end this weekend with the last event held at Eyam Moor and Bretton Clough in the Peak District.

    The course will cover the key aspects of organising an event for the club i.e. from the planning stage to the event day and follow-up tasks. The aim of the course is to enable participants to undertake an organising role with confidence by identifying what is important among the detail in the Organisers' Handbook.
