All BOK members are invited to pre JK training on Saturday 22nd March. This will be at Llangattock, an area next to the JK areas. A variety of exercises will be on offer. Please let Jackie Hallett know if you wish to attend.
Paul Gebbett is now taking names for the JK relays that are to be held at Pwll Du, west of Abergavenney on Easter Monday 21st April 2014. Please fill in the form enclosed within BOK news or on BOK website or email him your details as per form. Come and run the courses planned by our very own elite orienteers Mark Bown and Keith Agmen on a complex area, which should make for some great relays.
BOK had a very successful weekend at the 2013 JK, held in The Chilterns over the Easter Holidays, with our juniors in particular being in fine form.
The Klub has agreed to pay half the entries fees for major relays and Compass Sport Cup this year - if anyone else would like to run at the Compass Sport Cup First Round at Studland on 17th February or the JK Relays on Easter Monday please let Paul Gebbett know.
Entry Fees for Compass Sport Cup will be £4.50 for Seniors and £1.50 for Juniors Entry Fees for JK Relays will be £6.00 Senior and £3.75 junior as log as entries are in by 3rd February (Let Paul know if you want to enter by 31st January to give hem tim to sort suitable teams)
The JK this year is being held in and around Reading and Paul Gebbett is now needing names for the relays to be held on Monday 1st April at Hambledon, Henley.
Please email him with details of age class, preferred Relay class, BOF number, EMIT Number (if you have one). The first entry closing date is 4th Feb and Paul would like to meet this so let him know by end of January. Details of entry fees to follow.

A brilliant second day run at the Jan Kellstrom Championships in Perth ensured Alice Bedwell (W50L) the winning position in British Orienteering’s premier multi-day event. This follows her wins at the British Night, Sprint and Middle Championships. Other BOK winners were Ruth Forrest in W21S and the veteran women’s relay team of Alison Simmons, Jo Foster and Jackie Hallett.
Early entries to the JK Relays are needed now to take advantage of the cheaper fees available in February. Please get your form to Paul Gebbett this weekend or early next week if possible.

A change from the printed entry form - All juniors (and students) will run only need to pay £7.50 (irrespective of which relay class they run in) as the club will subsidise the rest of the entry.
