A number of items were left behind at the British Middle Championships on Sunday (2nd September)
The British Sprint and Middle Distance Championships held this weekend at the University of Bath and Stockhill near Wells in Somerset, provided the perfect start to the action packed new season of orienteering.

Earlier this year, Paul Pruzina and Andrew Elwood were awarded Mary Peters Trust Funding grants.

The British Sprint Championships are now only three days away and the organisers are busy making the final preparations.
SROC (or Red Rose Orienteers as we market ourselves locally) have about 120 total members in total. Of those, we have 26 Juniors in 16 families plus 1 Junior without a family! (well, not in the club anyway). So juniors are 22% of our membership.
12 months since British Orienteering received confirmation of funding from Sport England I felt it was a suitable time to provide an update on what that funding is enabling us to do for orienteering.
Last week the GB Talent squad travelled to Denmark to help prepare themselves for the Junior World Orienteering Championships 2019.
Sport England have relaunched their Club Matters website, making it even easier to find and use our range of great resources.
