Terrain:
Mainly runnable common land with numerous paths, urban areas for longer courses, juniors must be shadowed on Green. (Please read final details for any updates and changes)
Courses:
White (1.6km), Yellow (2.1km), Orange (2.9km), Light Green (3.5km) and Green (5km). Juniors on Green must be accompanied. Courses suitable for beginners – help and advice available on the day. All courses are approximate.
There will be a mandatory marshalled crossing for juniors 16 and under on courses Orange, Light Green & Green.
Registration:
Located in Warmley Forest Park Visitor Centre. Registration from 10.00am. Online entry “highly preferred for this event at Fabian4”. Others are encouraged to download an entry form and bring it to Registration pre-filled. If you may bring a group of more than 15, please warn the organizer two weeks in advance so that sufficient maps are printed. Please make sure you are a BOK member or BOF registered to participate in the League (Rules permitting)
Start/Closure:
10.30am –12.30pm with queuing start. The start is a very short distance from the Event Centre. Courses close at 2.30pm. Finish will be taped and also to Event Centre
Entry Fee:
White/Yellow courses: £3. Other courses: Juniors and students £3; Seniors BOF £6.
Punching:
SI electronic punching. Hire - Juniors free; Seniors £1.50; lost SI £40, SIAC £60
Facilities:
Toilets available at Warmley Forest Park visitor Centre. BOK First Aider in attendance. Please bring your own Food & drink. @WarmleyWaitingRoom are offering a free hot drink with orders of food over £3 (egg roll £3, Bacon Roll £3.20) choice of Tea, Coffee or Hot Chocolate.
Safety:
All competitors take part at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety.
‘No whistle, no go’ will be in force for all Juniors and is recommended for Seniors.
Dogs:
Allowed, but please keep under control/on lead and clear up afterwards. (road crossing)
