Following our success in 2013 we will be looking to defend our Compass Sport Cup title starting with the knock out round on Sunday 16th February at Haytor on Dartmoor.  We will be up against Devon OC who I am sure will be looking for a giant killing on home ground (they are particularly strong in the junior classes) so we need to ensure we get as strong team out as possible and do not underestimate them.
We are hoping to put on a coach from Bristol (with other possible pickup(s) on route south and you are encouraged to support this, both to ensure we get a good club spirit going and by virtue of the fact that parking is quite limited.  The event centre is the same as per 2012 at the Moorland Hotel, Haytor, so assuming they have use of the same rooms and catering as then we will have somewhere warm to decamp from the coach and refreshments will be available courtesy of the hotel. This worked very well last time.  If you are unable to use the coach please see details on Devon OC and BOK website with information regarding parking. (Cost of coach to be confirmed).
This year there have been some changes to the classes and scoring system. Details of the classes are on the entry form within the BOK news and on website. Scoring is best 25 scores with a maximum of 4 from each large class and 4 from a combination of the two sets of small class (e.g. 2 orange men and 2 orange women, 4 orange men etc.). The large classes score 100, 99, 98, 97 etc. and small classes 100, 98, 96, 94 etc.
Get behind the club and help us to the final, which this year will be held on Saturday 8th November 2014 at Long Valley North (Aldershotish) – so not too far away again.  Please use enclosed form or email Paul Gebbett as per details at bottom of form.
